Assam: Where the heart is!

As the airplane wheels squealed on the tarmac of the runaway, I sneaked a glimpse of the outside world through the window. A sense of calm fell upon me. A few minutes later, the moist air kissed my dry skin and as I put my feet on the ground, I joined my hands in awe, thanking the higher spirit for guiding me home. Hello Assam! While the sunrise dramatically unfolded the intense colors of a cloudy sky, the last hour of sunlight transformed the waves crashing against the shore into fiery prisms.
