When I was in my 20’s, I would shop recklessly, go to pubs for lunch and order for dinner. I would run around in my heels for hours and the feet never complained. The shorter the dresses, the sexier. The weather in Delhi, these days, is gorgeous. Some days, I wake up to rainy mornings and some nights, I sit in the balcony for hours watching the sky melt into those soft drops. The green is so vibrant around me and the sunset, ah, those daily sunsets look like a kid’s drawing book. Full of colors and patterns! Everything around me looks so beautiful! I am hoping the weather at your place is awesome too!
Blue sky, glossy skin and a brighter smile, Sunday morning rains and my colorful books pile; The songs of the little cuckoo near my window, All come together to paint on me, the golden summer glow. Summer has not always been easy on us. Despite the sweat and the turmoil during summers in the capital city, there is something about these days that fills my heart with joy.
