If I have to describe our Andamans vacation in a word, it would be “Celestial”. A year back, we started looking for the ideal location for our beach vacation in India and we both stared at each other and said, “Of course, the Andamans!”. It was perfect.
Day 5 in the Andamans was a lazy one, infact, this was what our holiday was meant to be..indulging in the tranquility of the island. Mr. Husband headed for his dive number 2 early in the morning, while I decided to take a stroll in the resort, find a favourite spot and submerge in the stupendous view that the Andamans had to offer. Day 2 started off with a hefty breakfast at Shompen’s roof-top restaurant. We had a long way to go, firstly, take a taxi to the Jetty, then the Govt. ferry to Havelock (via Neil Island) and then another taxi to our resort. The entire process would take 5-6 hours at the least, and most probably we won’t be able to grab anything to eat during the move. So, you can now understand what I meant by “hefty” breakfast.
