Rajasthan: A DREAM (Part 2: The beauties)

This is the last post for 2014. What a year it has been!!! I hope you too had a grand year and saw many of your dreams come true.

So, as promised, let me continue with my Rajasthan experience.

What’s a post on Rajasthan without the mentioning of the elegant camels? Well, this was the first time I clicked pictures of camels and I can’t tell you how gladly they posed for me. They are extremely gorgeous beings and the way they swing while they walk, can definitely win millions of hearts…Definitely won Mine.

We came across several wild camels and also the tame ones. We saw groups of camels crossing the road or walking on the dunes. We saw camels dressed in red and pink, and blue and yellow. We saw camels being mastered by tiny petite kids and we also saw camels walking in the open grounds like they don’t care.

Camels, in Rajasthan, are used for pulling carts, as means of transportation and also for Safari in the desert. I got a chance to ride one and the name of my camel was “Michael Jackson”, he still is “Michael Jackson”. You can see him in some of the pictures (the one I am on).

Sharing some of the “Camel” pictures clicked during the Rajasthan Trip. They are mostly from the Jodhpur-Jaisalmer drive and the Sam Dunes. I loved their elegance, their poise so much that I am dedicating this entire post to them. Long live “the Ship of the Desert” -the “CAMEL”.

There were hundreds here, magnificent view

What elegance!!!
