Today I completed a week away from India and what a week it has been. Nothing can replace what I feel for my country but I am embracing the new experiences with open arms. Let’s talk about my life here 😉 Right from an exhausting layover at Hong Kong to missing the connecting flight at Vancouver (not my fault though and it was taken care of by the staff), I have been through situations I had never faced before. But then, Kamloops happened and I felt like the chaos is finally over! But no 😛 Right now, I am living two separate lives. One- Running around and getting into the groove, Two-Easy and relaxed.
So, since I have been quite busy for a while, I decided to wear my explorer cap today and walk around. Oh yes! It’s lovely out here. The sun plays with the clouds while admiring its reflection on River Thompson. Also, the garage sale is on at almost every yard and it’s so much fun to go outdoors and get to know people around.
Once done with the garage sale trail, I walked along the dike to reach a cute little place called the “Little Farmers Petting Zoo”. It’s such a lovely place to enjoy a safe yet close-up look at the animals at the other side of the fence. There were so many kids around and they were all busy petting the goats and the pigs. The farm visit is for free but one can always make a donation to show support to the great work that is being done there. There are vending machines that have food for the animals for nickels and loonies. You can see goats, pigs, llama, emus, rabbits, turkeys, ducks and a couple of exotic birds out there. Overall, it’s a great, great place and I thoroughly loved it.
Hope you like the pictures 😊
See you soon :*
