We spent an entire day (kind of 8-6) exploring Galle, Unawatuna and a few places in between Bentota and Unawatuna. Distance: Bentota to Galle: 70 KMS approx. Galle to Unawatuna: 6 KMS approx. While the sunrise dramatically unfolded the intense colors of a cloudy sky, the last hour of sunlight transformed the waves crashing against the shore into fiery prisms.
