Bali Day 1: A Traditional Balinese Wedding and a Warm Welcome

Helloooooooo from Bali.

I hope everyone is doing good. I arrived at Bali yesterday and my first day was CRAZY. Besides travelling solo for a few days and being sleep deprived for more than 36 hours, I spent my entire day at a Traditional Balinese Wedding and since this was not enough, I also had the courage to edit the pictures and prepare the content for you to see. I guess that’s the magic of Bali. Suddenly I am so full of energy!

So, this time I booked a homestay for myself at Bali and I am so glad I did that. My hosts are amazing. They have been doing everything they can to make me feel at home, and I already am. I got invited to this wedding ceremony and I would not let it pass at any cost. I heard so much about Balinese people and their traditions, I had to witness it myself. I was dressed up in Balinese traditional wear by my host’s wife and was warmly welcomed by the family and guests at the wedding venue. They lovingly made me a part of their celebrations. The bride looked stunning in her wedding dress (she stitched it all by herself and I was like…DAMN!!). What a wonderful couple they both made. Here are a few pictures from my DAY 1 at Bali.

Hope you like the pictures and have a great day!!! I shall try my best to post daily 🙂
